Senior Product Owner – Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Context

Within a large IT organization undergoing digital transformation, the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to strengthen collaboration between business and IT.

The successful candidate will drive product priorities, translate business requirements into actionable deliverables, and ensure the successful implementation of secure, customer-focused IAM solutions within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Own, create, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog before each Sprint.
Understand business requirements and translate end-user needs into actionable requirements for the IAM team.
Oversee the management of the global customer file according to customer needs.
Ensure successful delivery, implementation, testing and quality assurance of functionalities.
Monitor delivery progress through Product Pack Log Management.
Define product scope and identify technical synergies between related projects.
Support the Team Manager in prioritizing business requirements.
Develop and maintain the product delivery roadmap.
Allocate attention to initiatives delivering the highest value within available team capabilities.
Identify, manage and communicate delivery risks and issues.
Monitor and report on budget-related matters.
Maintain effective communication with business and technical stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration between Agile teams, squads and stakeholders.
Organize Sprint Review meetings and collect continuous customer feedback.
Support the definition of team roles and responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
Proactively propose technical improvements and innovations.
Manage technical and non-technical conflicts.
Provide team coaching, motivation and operational support.
Keep clients and management informed about progress, risks and challenges.

Technical skills

Must have

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in the IT sector.
Expert knowledge of complex systems integration.
Strong knowledge of one or more IAM-related technologies or concepts: authentication, authorization, SSO, PKI, PAM, human and non-human identities.
Very good knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban or SAFe.
5 years of Business Analysis experience.
3 years of Cybersecurity experience, including cryptography-related concepts.
5 years of experience with development support tools such as Jira or SVN.
5 years of experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns.
3 years of knowledge of information security standards, including ISO 2700x.
3 years of IT Security Risk Analysis and Evaluation experience.
5 years of Quality Assurance experience.
3 years of REST API experience.
5 years of stakeholder management, negotiation and leadership experience.
5 years of internal communication experience.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
Results-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
Strong accountability, initiative and team spirit.
Excellent coaching and training capabilities.
Proficiency in English and French and/or Dutch.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

Should have

Previous Product Owner experience in IT Security.
Practical experience operating as a Product Owner or Scrum Master in Agile environments.
Strong understanding of IAM implementation and delivery challenges.
Experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams.
