SAP CRM / FIORI Technical Expert

Context

For a large Belgian organization, we are looking for a Technical Expert SAP CRM to strengthen the Process & Functional Support function.

The role is focused on the development and support of CRM applications and data flows linked to SAP CRM solutions, including interfaces with legacy applications through SAP CPI and SAP IDocs.

This position combines technical leadership, solution design, and hands-on delivery in a complex enterprise environment, with close collaboration with functional analysts, developers, and architecture stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and produce detailed technical specifications
Design technical solutions and architectural approaches in collaboration with functional analysts and development teams
Contribute to the improvement and consolidation of the existing SAP CRM platform
Perform customizing in SAP CRM and related CRM applications
Diagnose and analyse incidents, change requests, and technical issues, then design appropriate solutions
Take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of new developments, enhancements, and bug fixes
Act as a technical point of contact for the enterprise architect
Maintain a strong overview of the current application and integration architecture
Support interfaces with legacy applications via SAP CPI and SAP IDocs
Help ensure day-to-day excellence in functional and technical application support

Technical skills

Must have

Minimum 8 years of project experience in SAP CRM
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAPUI5/Fiori development
Strong ability to analyse functional requirements and translate them into SAP technical implementations
Profound knowledge of BSP Components Workbench, BOL/GENIL, and CRM upgrade transactions
Proven experience with SAP data services developments, including webservices and oData
Solid knowledge of data exchange formats and protocols such as SOAP, XML, JSON, and REST
Experience with ABAP Workbench, ABAP OO, Workflow, IDOC, ALV Grid, and ABAP WebDynpro
Experience with ADT (Eclipse)
Deep understanding of best practices for writing reusable code
Fluent in English and in French and/or Dutch
Availability to work at least 2 days per week in Brussels

Should have

Experience collaborating closely with functional analysts and enterprise architects
Ability to work with both support activities and project-based deliveries
Strong problem-solving and solution design skills in enterprise SAP environments
Experience working on platform consolidation and technical improvement initiatives

Nice to have

Additional exposure to broader CRM-related applications connected to SAP CRM
Experience in complex integration landscapes involving multiple legacy systems
Broader enterprise architecture awareness in large-scale organizations
