For one of our clients, we are looking for a Solution Architect to strengthen the architecture team in a complex business environment. The role involves critically assessing and challenging solution proposals, as well as developing small-scale proof-of-concepts to validate technological choices. Knowledge of the Belgian energy market is considered an asset but is not mandatory. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively, and comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders.
Design and validate end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and IT strategy
Critically assess and challenge proposed technical solutions
Develop proof-of-concepts to evaluate the feasibility of selected technologies
Apply architectural patterns and best practices in solution design
Use modelling techniques (ArchiMate, TOGAF, UML) to document and communicate architecture
Work with Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA) as modelling tool
Manage and engage stakeholders across business and IT domains
Communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect (medior to senior level)
Proven experience applying architectural patterns
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with modelling techniques (ArchiMate, TOGAF, UML, Sparx EA)
Excellent communication skills, demonstrated during interview
Good knowledge of English
Dutch or French at CEFR level C1
TOGAF Foundation certification
Proven experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure
Experience with Enterprise Architect modelling tool
Knowledge of the Belgian energy market
TOGAF Certified certification
