Context

Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET / React) to design, develop, maintain and modernize cloud-native applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role combines software engineering, cloud technologies and DevOps practices to deliver scalable, secure and high-quality business applications while collaborating with central engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Translate application storyboards and business use cases into functional software.
  • Design, develop and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code.
  • Build and maintain REST APIs using modern .NET technologies.
  • Develop front-end features using React.
  • Integrate SQL, NoSQL and cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability and responsiveness.
  • Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
  • Maintain code quality through best development practices.
  • Collaborate with central teams to improve DevOps capabilities.
  • Participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.

Technical skills

Must have

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with .NET development.
  • Recent experience with .NET Core / .NET 8–10.
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with React.js.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines and YAML.
  • Experience with deployment strategies such as Blue/Green Deployment.
  • Professional English (minimum B2).
  • Willing to work on-site in Brussels at least 2 days per week.

Should have

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Clean Architecture knowledge.
  • Feature Flags implementation.
  • Strong software architecture skills.
  • SQL and NoSQL database experience.
  • Unit testing experience.
  • Git expertise.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Continuous learning mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure Event Hub.
  • Experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Azure Functions experience.
  • AI-assisted software development experience.
  • Innovation or modernization project experience.
