Context

The client company is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to industrialize AI solutions by designing production-ready machine learning pipelines and ensuring seamless deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI services. The role bridges Data Science and IT Production to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable machine learning applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to design production-ready ML solutions.
  • Define suitable deployment architectures based on business requirements.
  • Develop and automate machine learning pipelines.
  • Build Docker images and virtualized deployment environments.
  • Implement unit, regression, and integration testing.
  • Support Data Scientists in using industrial MLOps and CI/CD tools.
  • Support IT Production during deployment and environment configuration.
  • Monitor production models and data pipelines.
  • Implement automated model retraining when required.
  • Ensure service reliability, performance, and monitoring from both technical and business perspectives.

Technical skills

Must have

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced Python development.
  • Containerization and virtualization.
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI).
  • Code, model, and data versioning.
  • AI platforms and development IDEs.
  • Package and dependency management.
  • PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving abilities.

Should have

  • Experience with distributed systems or mainframe integrations.
  • ELT / ETL tools.
  • Spark or Big Data technologies.
  • Data flow processing.
  • Data visualization tools.

Nice to have

  • Model compression techniques.
  • Dutch language.
  • French language.
