Join the CMDB & IT Configuration Management team to maintain and enhance CMDB data quality and governance. You’ll manage the lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs) in ServiceNow, ensure data integrity against the CSDM framework, and collaborate with CI data owners across a complex organization to embed robust configuration practices.
CI lifecycle management in ServiceNow CMDB from creation and update to retirement, with correct relationships and change tracking.
Data accuracy & audits: perform regular CMDB reviews to ensure completeness and compliance with standards.
Reporting & dashboards on CI accuracy, database health, and audit findings.
Process documentation: create and maintain operating procedures and learning materials for configuration users.
Support the Process Owner / CMDB owner in day-to-day operations.
Minimum 2 years as an IT Configuration Manager.
Minimum 2 years hands-on with ServiceNow CMDB.
Strong background in ITIL Configuration Management and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
Able to work onsite at least 2 days/week; can work independently and proactively.
Languages: good Dutch or French and English (spoken and written).
Experience establishing and rolling out ITIL processes in large, multi-team environments (not only executing them).
Solid knowledge of CMDB Workspace and related reporting in ServiceNow.
ITIL expert certification/level.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; patient, reliable, and supportive of organizational adoption.
Knowledge of Service Portfolio Management.
Broader understanding of IT governance and its relations (ITSM, operations, portfolio).
Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
