GenAI Engineer

Context

The client is seeking a Medior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join its team of AI experts. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative AI solutions using GPT models, Azure AI services, and other advanced technologies. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to co-create impactful AI use cases that drive business value and advance the adoption of generative AI across multiple sectors, particularly in the automotive and mobility industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end AI use cases, from prototype to user experience.

  • Engineer effective prompts to optimize AI model performance.

  • Design and implement solutions using Azure OpenAI and related Azure services.

  • Integrate Azure AI solutions with existing enterprise systems.

  • Provide clear and detailed documentation for code, processes, and workflows.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth solution integration.

  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

  • Follow best practices in DevOps, security, and performance.

  • Stay up to date with the latest AI and machine learning trends.

  • Co-create AI use cases with business and design teams.

  • Educate both technical and business stakeholders on generative AI applications

Technical skills

Must have

  • University degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

  • Proven experience in developing AI projects using OpenAI / GPT models.

  • Expertise in prompt engineering and agentic AI (OpenAI Agent SDK, MCP Tools, etc.).

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.

  • Advanced knowledge of Azure AI services integration.

  • Solid experience in DevOps practices and API development (RESTful APIs).

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive and self-driven mindset with a focus on innovation.

Should have

  • Experience with Azure Functions, SQL databases, and cloud architecture.

  • Exposure to Business Intelligence and ETL/ELT processes.

  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to explain AI concepts clearly.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of automotive or mobility industry challenges.

  • Participation in AI conferences, training, or research initiatives.

  • Familiarity with French or Dutch (native/bilingual proficiency).

  • English proficiency (nice to have).
