Functional Analyst Senior

Context

The Energy Transition team, consisting of approximately 15 employees, manages applications supporting the energy transition and customers in vulnerable situations. The application landscape includes a digital data hub, an ERP system, and mobile and web applications connected through web services.

The team is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to support the evolution and delivery of these applications, acting as an intermediary between business stakeholders and development partners throughout the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
Facilitate discussions and workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Identify solutions aligned with the IT architecture and the end-to-end application and technology landscape.
Validate proposed solutions with business stakeholders.
Act as an intermediary between business teams and development partners.
Document analyses and solutions in detailed functional designs.
Perform requirements and functional analysis using UML and the implemented modelling tools.
Review technical solutions proposed by development partners.
Control the quality of development deliverables.
Coordinate, develop and execute test plans and test phases.
Support application implementation and go-live activities.
Maintain reference documentation.
Manage applications in collaboration with developers.
Identify, analyze and document bugs and follow up on their resolution.
Participate in problem management.
Provide second-line support for application incidents.

Technical skills

Must have

Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Functional Analyst.
Fluent in French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the other national language.
Proven experience in requirements analysis.
Proven experience translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Proven experience facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Proven experience in end-to-end delivery, from requirements elicitation through testing and go-live.
Proven experience designing test plans and test cases and coordinating UAT.
Proven experience with UML and BPMN process modelling.
Proven experience with API-based application integration.
Proven experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
Proven experience with mobile applications.
Proven experience with web-based digital platforms.

Should have

Proven experience using a modelling tool.
Proven experience with cloud migration or cloud-based application environments.
