Our client is accelerating its digital transformation to support the energy transition. Following a pilot phase, the Digital department will scale to a product-centric operating model from 2026, redefining how value is delivered, prioritized, and governed. To support this shift, the organization is investing in intensive coaching for agile teams and new roles. Within this context, a seasoned Technical Agile Coach is required to bridge agile ways of working with a strong engineering culture in a scaled environment.
Establish and anchor the chosen agile framework within product teams
Coach and mentor agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on agile values, principles, and practices
Align product decisions with strategic business objectives to maximize delivered value
Facilitate cross-team learning to reduce silos and improve collaboration
Support teams in adopting engineering best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, DevOps culture)
Improve efficiency by reducing lead time from business need to reliable solution
Assist in defining and implementing technical health and business metrics to drive continuous improvement
10+ years of experience in software solution design and delivery
Hands-on background as a developer and/or architect, with strong empathy for engineering challenges
Deep practical knowledge of scaled agile systems (preferably LeSS)
Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
Practical experience with Continuous Trunk-Based Delivery
Expertise in (A)TDD and expressive automated test suites as living documentation
Practical experience communicating architecture using C4 or similar techniques
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
Ability to become productive quickly in complex and unfamiliar business domains
Strong coaching mindset, recognizing that technical transformation is fundamentally a people transformation
Proven ability to work across multiple teams and manage conflicts constructively
Comfort interacting with operational staff, middle management, and senior leadership
