Our client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to drive and safeguard the organization’s Enterprise Architecture, with a primary focus on Application Architecture. The role is part of a large-scale IT transformation program aimed at rationalizing, modernizing, and migrating applications to align with business objectives and the new IT strategy. The selected professional will act as a trusted advisor and bridge between business, IT management, and technical teams.
Develop and maintain the Enterprise and Application Architecture aligned with the company’s IT strategy.
Lead the architectural dimension of the application transformation program, including modernization and migration efforts.
Define technical and functional roadmaps for the next five years.
Establish and enforce architectural standards and guidelines across projects and Agile teams.
Coach and mentor System Architects to ensure adherence to architectural principles.
Collaborate closely with Business, IT Management, internal teams, and external partners.
Communicate complex architectural topics effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong expertise in Application and Enterprise Architecture.
Proven experience in application landscape rationalization and modernization.
Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and CSVLOD.
Knowledge of modern architectural concepts (DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, Event Driven Architecture, Data Mesh, etc.).
Proficiency with architecture tools (LeanIX, C4 diagrams, BPMN).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Experience leading complex transformation programs.
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change in large organizations.
Experience in coaching architects and senior engineers.
Strong analytical and strategic mindset.
