Project Manager Data & BI

Context

Within the Data Management team, the Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of strategic BI and Data Analytics projects for multiple business departments and corporate functions.

The role focuses on delivering projects across existing Data platforms and the KPI Factory solution, including new BI solutions, migrations and improvement initiatives.

The Project Manager acts as the bridge between Business, IT and external suppliers, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, budget and quality expectations.

A major focus of the assignment is ESG/CSRD reporting, alongside other KPI reporting requirements and obligations.

Responsibilities

Manage strategic BI and Data Analytics projects end-to-end.
Lead projects across existing Data platforms and the KPI Factory solution.
Deliver new BI solutions, migrations and improvement initiatives.
Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, planning, budget and quality expectations.
Coordinate Business, IT and external suppliers.
Manage ESG/CSRD reporting projects.
Support other KPI reporting requirements and obligations.
Collaborate with Data Governance teams.
Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architects.
Work closely with Data Engineers and Power BI Developers.
Coordinate with SAP teams and business stakeholders.
Create project charters, project plans and other project management artefacts.
Develop and execute migration plans.
Document architecture, best practices, guidelines, guardrails, planning, migration approaches and roadmaps.
Manage stakeholders and support decision-making throughout project delivery.

Technical skills

Must have

Degree in Economics or Computer Science.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar hands-on Project Manager role.
Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Data & Analytics projects.
Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Demonstrable BI and reporting experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure.
Fluent communication in Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written.
Dutch or French at native/C level, with the other language at minimum B2 level.
English at C level.
Willingness to work on-site for up to 5 days per week, depending on project requirements.

Should have

Demonstrable experience with ESG/CSRD reporting projects.
Strong experience with analytical techniques such as use cases and scenarios.
Experience with process analysis, reporting and problem resolution.
Demonstrable experience creating project charters and project plans.
Demonstrable experience creating and executing migration plans.
Strong communication skills and a diplomatic approach.

Demonstrable end-to-end delivery ownership.
Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Strong decision-making skills.
Pragmatic approach to project delivery.
