Context

An international energy infrastructure company is looking for an experienced Platform & DevOps Engineer to ensure the stability, security, and operational excellence of its Kubernetes-based cloud platform. The role focuses on maintaining high availability, supporting production environments, and enabling development teams to deploy workloads safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Kubernetes production platforms
  • Manage multi-environment infrastructure (DEV, TEST, ACC, PROD)
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Execute platform upgrades and maintenance
  • Implement GitOps deployment strategies
  • Manage observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo and OpenTelemetry
  • Apply security patches and operational security controls
  • Automate operational tasks
  • Maintain documentation and operational runbooks
  • Collaborate with Development, Security and Product teams

Technical skills

  • Strong Kubernetes production experience
