Enterprise Security architect

Context

The company is strengthening its cybersecurity posture in response to evolving global threats. The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for translating high-level security strategies into practical implementations while ensuring a balance between security and user experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and evolve the enterprise security architecture
Define security principles, standards, and reference architectures
Ensure secure-by-design practices in all new developments
Promote and implement Zero Trust principles
Document and communicate security standards across teams
Build long-term security capability and technology roadmaps
Align security practices with regulatory frameworks (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Support audit and compliance activities
Review and improve existing architecture for resilience
Evaluate and select enterprise security solutions (IAM, PAM, SIEM, etc.)
Lead PoCs and pilot programs for emerging technologies
Collaborate with enterprise and domain architects

Technical skills

Must have

Master’s degree in engineering or scientific field
5+ years in security architecture
Expertise in multiple security domains (cloud, IAM, network, application security, data protection)
Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Should have

Certifications (TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ITIL, Azure/AWS)
Experience with enterprise architecture tools (e.g., Sparx EA)
Experience in IT/OT environments
Knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks

Nice to have

Experience in the energy or utility sector
Knowledge of asset management or field operations
Multilingual capabilities (FR/NL/EN)
