Junior NOC Engineer

Context

The role is part of a network team responsible for operating, securing, and evolving a critical IT and OT infrastructure across multiple European locations. The team supports 24/7 business operations and contributes to key projects such as data center connectivity, cloud integration, and WAN modernization.

Responsibilities

Operate and support network infrastructure in a 24/7 environment
Deploy and maintain IT and OT systems
Analyze and resolve network incidents and technical issues
Execute changes with high diligence in critical environments
Contribute to infrastructure and connectivity projects
Support internal teams across Belgium and Europe

Technical skills

Must have

Operational knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint)
Basic routing and switching knowledge (CCNA level)
Familiarity with Cisco CLI
Experience with Python
Experience with backend tools (monitoring, NAC, syslog, authentication)
First relevant professional experience
Fluent in English
Fluent in French and/or Dutch

Should have

Background in computer science

Nice to have

Experience in OT environments
