You will join the ICT service unit of a national professional federation, supporting a large network of offices and employees through digital solutions.
As a Senior Functional Analyst, you are part of a product team delivering state-of-the-art software covering multiple business domains. You act as a key link between business stakeholders and development teams, contributing directly to digital transformation initiatives in a complex, high-impact environment.
Take end-to-end responsibility for user stories from definition to validation
Refine EPICs into well-structured user stories, including mapping and prioritization
Write and validate user stories in close collaboration with the Product Manager
Refine user stories together with developers and testers
Validate delivered functionalities against acceptance criteria
Act as the main functional point of contact for development and testing teams
Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, including at least 2 years at senior level
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid technical background, with knowledge of REST APIs, Swagger, and event-driven architecture
Recent hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Experience with UML diagrams and data modelling
Fluent in Dutch and English or French and English, with very good knowledge of the third language
Availability to work on-site 2 days per week
Experience creating wireframes using Figma, applying UX design best practices
Knowledge of BPMN and business process modelling
Experience working with MS SQL Server
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way
Assertive, proactive, and results-driven mindset without compromising quality
Basic knowledge of Java
Background or interest in UX Design beyond functional analysis
Experience in large-scale or public-sector IT environments
