You will join the ICT service unit of a large national professional federation, supporting digital transformation across more than a thousand offices. Within a product-oriented environment, you will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality software solutions covering multiple legal domains. As a Senior Functional Analyst, you play a key role in translating business needs into clear, validated user stories and ensuring end-to-end functional quality.
Refine EPICs into detailed and prioritized user stories
Lead user story mapping sessions with stakeholders
Write and validate user stories in collaboration with the Product Manager
Refine user stories together with the development team
Validate developed features against acceptance criteria
Act as the main functional point of contact for developers and testers
Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst
At least 2 years of experience in a senior role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid technical background
Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience with REST APIs, Swagger, and event-driven architectures
Ability to model using UML and data modeling techniques
Fluent in Dutch & English or French & English, with good command of the third language
Experience creating wireframes using Figma
Knowledge of UX design best practices
Experience with BPMN
Familiarity with SQL databases
Basic knowledge of Java
Experience working across multiple legal or regulated domains
