Our client, a leading organization in the health insurance and social protection sector, is seeking an Enterprise Architect (Technology Domain) to join its IT Strategy Department. This role is central to a large-scale IT transformation, with a focus on cloud implementation (Microsoft Azure), infrastructure modernization, and digital enablement. The Enterprise Architect will act as a trusted advisor to both business and technology leaders, ensuring alignment between IT capabilities, strategic objectives, and architectural standards.
Define and develop the technology architecture vision aligned with business strategy and capabilities.
Lead and manage the architecture of the technology domain: infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and integration platforms.
Contribute to the cloud migration strategy (Microsoft Azure) — governance, landing zones, security patterns, and platform services.
Support the IT transformation program to maintain architectural integrity and coherence.
Provide expert architectural guidance for large-scale projects using on-premise and Azure services.
Collaborate closely with solution, business, and security architects, ensuring consistency across programs.
Evaluate emerging technologies and manage technology selection processes.
Maintain architecture documentation, standards, and technology roadmaps in LeanIX.
Participate actively in architecture boards and governance processes.
Mentor and coach architects and engineers, promoting excellence and innovation in hybrid cloud technologies.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, governance).
Experience in IT transformation programs, especially legacy modernization and cloud enablement.
Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN) and tools (LeanIX).
Understanding of Agile, SAFe, DevOps, CI/CD, and FinOps practices.
Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive change.
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Proven experience in enterprise-level technology architecture design and implementation.
Strong leadership and influencing skills in complex organizational environments.
Experience with hybrid cloud and infrastructure modernization.
Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or TOGAF.
Experience in governance frameworks and security by design principles.
Hands-on familiarity with LeanIX or equivalent EA tools.
