As a Senior Business Acceptance Tester within the Digital Transformation team, you will ensure that solutions delivered through Agile/Scrum methodologies meet business expectations, acceptance criteria, and quality standards. You will be responsible for designing and executing user-centered test scenarios based on business needs and processes.
Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, and end users, you will validate that new digital features are intuitive, functional, and aligned with business objectives. Your role is essential in ensuring the quality and adoption of delivered products.
Define and maintain the test plan
Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to review acceptance criteria
Translate business needs from User Stories and Acceptance Criteria into structured business acceptance test scenarios (AIO)
Verify compliance of verification and regression tests performed by IT teams
Ensure the acceptance environment is operational
Design and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles, ensuring full workflow coverage
Act as user representative during Agile ceremonies and sprint reviews (for quality aspects)
Facilitate bug management and coordinate their resolution with developers, POs, and BAs
Track and report test results, coverage, and traceability in test management tools (Jira, AIO)
Perform sanity checks during production releases and participate in go/no-go decisions
Share knowledge and contribute to testing best practices within the organization
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, IT, or related field
10+ years of experience as an Acceptance Test Coordinator and/or Senior Business Acceptance Tester, preferably in Agile/Scrum and digital contexts
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and its impact on user testing
Proven ability to translate business requirements into relevant test scenarios
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in test techniques
Practical experience with test management tools (HP ALM, TestRail, AIO, XRay, Zephyr) and defect tracking tools (Jira)
Excellent communication skills across business and technical teams
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and rigor
Professional proficiency in English
ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent in test/UAT
Experience in coordinating UAT in large-scale digital transformation projects
Knowledge of Confluence and additional test management tools
Awareness of UX and digital product expectations
Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in QA/UAT
